Silk Jersey items may be hand or machine washed up to 40°C (delicate cycle) using a mild silk detergent. All colours especially strong ones should be washed separately, especially the first few times to remove loose dye. Short spin and do not tumble dry. Warm iron on the reverse side of the garment if necessary. There is no doubt hand washed items last longer, however with care machine washed items will last reasonably.
Silk is a natural fabric, it has to be dyed to gain a colour other than Ivory. It is inevitable that there will be some dye loss in washing.

Postage & Packing
We charge a flat rate of £5 for the UK, £10 for the European Union and £14 for the Rest of World. Special delivery (UK only) is £10 and international courier is £36.00.

Tax Charges
For orders despatched to the UK, the price charged is inclusive of VAT. Orders being despatched outside of the UK are VAT free.

Returns
We cannot accept returns of opened packs of stockings.
Simply return the item in perfect condition within 14 days of receipt, with a copy of your sales invoice and note to let us know if you require a refund or exchange.
You will need to pay the postage required to return the package.

Please order according to the size charts. Adequate ease has been added to all the garments. We use two size charts because we need less of a gap between sizes for close fitting garments such as camisoles, than we do for elasticated garments such as briefs. Bust, Waist and Hips in the above charts refer to measurements as shown in the diagram.

Bra and cup size are obtained in the following way:
Whilst wearing a bra, take the underbust measurement holding the tape measure firmly. Take the measurement in inches (If you measure in centimeters, divide the result by 2.54). If the number of inches is odd, add five, if it is even add four, this result is the bra size. Next take the bust measurement. The difference between the underbust measurement and the bust measurement gives the cup size as follows:
4 inches is an A cup
5 inches is a B cup
6 inches is a C cup
7 inches is a D cup
8 inches is a DD cup

Example:
Underbust measures 32 inches, bust measures 37 inches, waist measures 28 inches, and hips 38 inches.
Underbust is even, so add 4 to give a bra size of 36. The difference between the underbust and bust size is 5 inches, giving cup size B. The correct size of bra or basque is 36B.
Bust size is 37 inches, so for camisoles, nighties etc, size 14 or medium is the correct size.
Waist size is 28 inches, so for briefs, french knickers etc, medium is the correct size.
